Polax Launcher v1.2.0 — 23 local services, agent-native, zero CLI

Hey everyone, Just shipped v1.2.0 of Polax Launcher and wanted to share what we've been building. **What is it?** Polax Launcher is a free Windows desktop app that manages your entire local infrastructure from one panel — no terminal, no config files. You add your services, it supervises them, restarts them on crash, and gives you live logs. Think of it as a process manager built specifically for the kind of stack we all run locally. **What's new in v1.2.0** The big thing this release is **Quick Setup** — it now auto-detects 23 services installed on your machine and adds them in one click. Every category covered: - **AI / LLMs:** Ollama, LM Studio, LocalAI, Jan, Tabby - **AI / Image:** ComfyUI, Automatic1111 - **AI / Interface:** Open WebUI, text-generation-webui, AnythingLLM - **Automation:** n8n, Flowise - **Storage / DB:** Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MinIO - **Web / Proxy:** Nginx, Caddy - **Dev Tools:** Gitea, Uptime Kuma, Portainer - **Network:** ngrok, Tailscale, Cloudflare Tunnel We also added an animated detection screen with live log while it scans your machine, and a first-time onboarding tutorial (5 steps) that walks you through connecting Claude Code or Cursor via MCP. **Agent integration (the part I'm most excited about)** The app runs an HTTP API on localhost:7373 and a native MCP server. Once you wire it up in `.claude/settings.json`, Claude Code can start services, read logs, run scripts, and check health without you ever switching windows. Your AI assistant literally manages your AI stack. **Download** Free, open source, Windows x64 (~75 MB). Create a free Polax account at polaxyui.org/launcher to download. Would love to hear from anyone running similar setups — what services are you managing locally? Anything missing from the list?
